On the afternoon of June 26th, at The Hamtons Plaza Hồ Tràm, the Department of Tourism organized a press conference to provide detailed information about the plan for organizing activities in the “The Sound of Summer 2023” program.
Specifically, the focal point of the event series will take place from July 22nd to 23rd in the Hồ Tràm area, Xuyên Mộc district, featuring main activities such as the Kite Festival “Colors of Summer” with around 100 kites of various colors, sizes, and artistic designs; beach sports activities “Dynamic Summer” including paddleboarding, kayaking, jet skiing, parasailing, surfing, and skateboarding…
The “Tasty Delights of Summer” activity will feature over 50 culinary stalls and bar counters from restaurants and hotels, offering visitors a variety of delicious dishes along with street art performances.
The Hamtons Pier will also be decorated as a luminous bridge with a system of beam lights and special effects, utilizing technology to provide unique experiences for both tourists and local participants.
The highlight of the program is the themed art night called “The Sound of Summer,” scheduled to take place from 6:00 PM on July 22nd. It will feature performances by renowned singers, rappers, bands, and DJs, combining with unique sound and lighting technology to create a modern and colorful music festival for the audience to enjoy.
During the press conference, representatives of the media also provided suggestions to improve the organization of the event. These suggestions included traffic management to avoid congestion and the mobilization of businesses and local communities with strong tourism potential across the province to participate in activities that stimulate demand and promote the event, thereby increasing its spread.
Mr. Trịnh Hàng, the Director of the Department of Tourism, stated that the event will be organized annually and will continue to be elevated to serve tourists during the summer, creating a vibrant festival atmosphere and introducing the diverse tourism services available in the local area. This affirms the commitment to maintain and develop a tourism environment that is “safe, friendly, and promotes community health” in the region.
Furthermore, on July 8th, the Department of Tourism, in collaboration with Xuyên Mộc district and The Grand Hồ Tràm Strip, will organize a seminar to discuss solutions for attracting tourists to Bà Rịa-Vũng Tàu.
